Soukhya offers two complementary systems of medicine — classical homeopathy and NAET — applied to a focused set of conditions. Below is what we treat and how.

Our Two Treatment Systems

Two disciplines. One coordinated plan.

Classical Homeopathy

200 years of practice · 7,000+ remedies

What it is

A 200-year-old system of medicine that treats the individual, not the disease. Remedies are selected to match the patient's complete pattern of symptoms, constitution, and history.

How it works

Homeopathic remedies signal to the body's own regulatory systems. They do not suppress symptoms — they prompt the body to correct the underlying imbalance.

What makes it different

Best suited for

Chronic skin conditions, allergies, pediatric care, women's health concerns, and lifestyle disorders where the body's regulation has been disturbed over time.

NAET

Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique · Practiced in 80+ countries

What it is

A non-invasive, drug-free technique developed by Dr. Devi Nambudripad, trained in acupuncture, chiropractic, kinesiology, and nutrition. Practiced in over 80 countries.

How it works

NAET uses muscle response testing to identify substances the body reacts to. Acupressure at specific points helps the nervous system reset its response. Most allergens require 25 hours of avoidance after treatment to fully clear.

What makes it different

Best suited for

Food allergies, environmental allergies, recurrent allergic reactions, and cases where the trigger has been hard to identify.

Dr. Sunil M. Thomas holds the Advanced Diploma in NAET, certified by NAET headquarters in California. More at naet.com.

Understanding Metabolism

Your body runs on the food you eat. Every time you eat, your stomach and intestines break food down into tiny nutrients that your body uses for energy, growth, repair, and every function needed to keep you healthy. This entire process is called metabolism. When metabolism works properly, you feel energetic, active, healthy, and able to enjoy life to the fullest.

However, when metabolism becomes disturbed, the body begins to struggle. Unhealthy eating habits such as excessive sugar, processed foods, irregular meal timings, and a lack of fresh fruits and vegetables can upset this delicate balance. Lifestyle factors like poor sleep, ongoing stress, lack of exercise, and frequent use of antibiotics can further affect the body’s natural functioning. Over time, these disturbances may contribute to a wide range of health concerns, including weight gain, diabetes, digestive problems, skin conditions, fatigue, allergies, and even anxiety.

Modern research shows that the gut and brain are constantly communicating with each other through what is known as the Gut–Brain Axis. The digestive system contains millions of nerves and beneficial bacteria that send important signals to the brain every moment of the day. When the gut is affected by poor nutrition and unhealthy lifestyle habits, it can send stress signals throughout the body. This may keep the body in a state of imbalance and can contribute to the development of long-term health problems.

How NAET may help

NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Techniques) is used as a complementary approach. NAET is based on the idea that certain foods, nutrients, or environmental substances may create stress responses within the body and contribute to ongoing imbalance.During a NAET session, muscle response testing is used while the person is exposed to specific food or substance samples. This process is intended to help identify items that may not be well tolerated by the body. Once a substance is identified, gentle stimulation along specific points on the back, similar to acupressure, is performed. A short avoidance period is then recommended before reintroducing the item.

The goal of NAET is to support the body’s natural balance and help reduce stress responses that may interfere with overall wellbeing. Many people choose NAET as part of a holistic approach that also includes healthy nutrition, proper sleep, stress management, regular exercise, and positive lifestyle changes.

What to Expect

The treatment journey

Week 1
The first consultation

45 to 60 minutes. Detailed questions about your symptoms, history, family's health patterns, and lifestyle. Bring any reports, prescriptions, or photographs of skin conditions.

Weeks 2–4
Initial response

Most patients notice changes within the first month. For acute conditions, much sooner. For chronic conditions, early changes may be subtle: better sleep, less reactivity, smaller flares.

Months 1–3
Refinement

The treatment plan is adjusted at each follow-up based on how the body is responding. NAET protocols continue for patients identified with specific allergens.

Months 3–12
Stabilization

Sustained improvement is established. Visits become less frequent. Many patients reduce or discontinue conventional medications during this phase, always in coordination with prescribing physicians.

Common Questions

Questions patients ask before starting

How long until I see results?

Acute conditions, such as a fresh cold or allergic flare, often respond within days. Chronic conditions, particularly ones suppressed by steroids or long-term medication, take months. We will give you a realistic estimate at your first consultation.

In most cases, yes. Homeopathic remedies work on a different plane and do not interact with conventional drugs. The goal, where appropriate, is to gradually reduce dependence on conventional medication, always with the agreement of your prescribing physician.

No. NAET involves muscle response testing and acupressure. There are no needles, no injections, and no medications.

Yes. Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted and free from toxic side effects. We treat infants and children regularly.

No. Soukhya uses only authentic homeopathic remedies prepared according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia. We do not prescribe steroids.

Not on day one, and never abruptly. Many patients continue their existing medications throughout treatment. As the underlying condition improves, dependence often reduces naturally, and we coordinate any taper with the prescribing physician.
